• Cold Seal cards are only printed on one side of the board. The pressure sensitive adhesive on the back of the blister card allows the inner section of the card to be transferred easily. After transferring this part, all sides of the package, front, back and even the part behind the blister, are all showing the printed colors. Only pressure, no heat is required to perfectly seal the blister pack.

• In the Pharma & Healthcare industry, blister cards and blister wallets are commonly used for clinical trials, drugs promotion and commercial packaging. The advantage of using blister wallets as secondary packaging for drugs is that the information always stays with the drug itself unlike the case of folding boxes where the information about the drug is often lost after separating the blister strip from the box.

Contrary to heat-seal packaging that requires pressure and time and heat; cold seal pack only requires pressure to make a perfect seal. This makes the packaging process simple, quick, clean, low on energy consumption and therefore very cost effective. A range of very simple to highly automated packaging equipment is available to support the packaging process. The cold seal blister packaging therefore lends itself perfectly to any packaging job, large or small.

• The cold seal blister packaging is a combination of a pressure-sensitive fold-over blister card and a transparent blister. The blister is trapped between two pieces of board that are sealed under pressure without using any heat. Together they form a beautiful, highly visible presentation of your product.
